On Pheromones; or How to Get Bitches

Foreword

Do not use this knowledge to take advantage of others. This has been written to satisfy my own curiosity and should only be used for educational purposes.

Introduction

Pheromones are a controversial topic. Some research suggest that they don't work, and some suggest they do. I honestly do not care enough to test it myself, but the idea is cool so why not go down the rabbit hole, lol. Maybe in the future this changes, in which case I will update this post.

Male pheromones

Name Pros Cons Notes
Androstenone N/A (see notes) Risky, it's smell is really subjective and can be offputting to some people.
  • One research says it can increase the alcohol consumption in females.
  • It's also used for artificial insemination of pigs...
  • Probably the most risky of them all.
Androstenol Activates mating pathways in the female brain. Males tend to avoid being in the presence of it. N/A
Androstadienone Causes a "significant reduction of nervousness, tension and other negative feeling states." N/A This is probably the safest bet.

Female pheromones

Name Pros Cons Notes
Copulin
  • Increses testosterone levels in males.
  • Makes guys find girls more attractive.
  • Makes guys find themselves more attractive.
N/A It's secreted during ovulation.
Estratetraenol
  • Makes males more cooperative.
  • Increases the attraction of males to females.
N/A Does not have an effect on the impulsive sexual nature of men.

Conclusion

While female pheromones seem pretty risk-free, male pheromones are a bit more complicated. If you're desperate enough to try them, I'd suggest skipping Androstenone as it seems to be a bit of a gamble.

The topic seems cool, but it probably won't make you a chick magnet. Go hit the gym, nerd.
